The Spring season started with a bold pant as the main power piece, a statement will hold up through the summer and into fall. With the hottest months upon us, the bold and the beautiful color pallets of summer scream "Look at me."
Just recently, I was looking over some street fashion snapshots on Vogue the other day during fashion weeks across the country. I wanted to be inspired on looks to come in the fall, and love that the looks of the on lookers are versatile and fashion forward. In Australia, women flock to the fashion streets dressed fabulous for fall fashion, but current for the season at hand. This versatility has become my new outlook for fashion. I like staying ahead of the trends, and staying with the times all at once. Take something from one season pair it with the new trend and create looks that remain fashion forward no matter when you wear them.
What I love now, A Top to Bottom BOLD Look.
How perfect is it to wear two bold colors in the same bold family together for a sexy well put together look. I love this women's neon sweater, & bold blue skirl. Very BOLD and FUNKY yet Clean and Classic
Bold Color Swatches
A bold slack, trouser, skinny, skirt (full/pencil). Pair with a bold top, try something with texture, and find a bold color that shines just as bold on top as the bottom.

Ecofriendly Style
No, this is not about organic clothing. This is about recycling a look and being fabulous. If your anything like me you could spend hours picking and pairing the right items together within your closet to wear on any particular occasion. When you go out at night, are you spending double the time picking out clothes when you could be pre gaming with a glass of wine, or chatting with your friends? If you are female and fashion focused, the answer to this and many other wardrobe questions will be YES!
Did you ever consider that you could adjust an already wonderful outfit and still look fresh and well put together? Me neither...but I am now. Why do laundry you do not have to do.... and dry cleaning is out of this world expensive. Save yourself the drama and headache of wardrobe switching by making a good daytime outfit great for night time play.
Lets say you wear a cute dress cardigan/ jean blazer ensemble to work ... you've dressed for the day by using day time accessories such as scarfs, glasses, flats, big carry-all bags and subtle jewelry. Why not ditch the day wear accessories and replace them with some mood changing fun loving feature items...
The trick is to change a look...by simply adding some shine and sparkle. Update the soft wearable day looks for something a little more edgy and fun...
Some of my favorite night time accessories...
A great Clutch- Trade in that big bag for something hand held...

Now lets change up your day time Jewelry...
Try a chunky or detailed necklace
or depending on your top some great earrings
and if those do not do it for ya'... Add on the Bracelet bling
Finally... Hair and Makeup. Go from day time charm to night time vixen with a bold or smokey eye and sleek hair.
These tips will easily take you from day time trabajo to night time hot mama in one fowl swoop...
Congratulations you have done a good deed... together we can all cut back water use and save on energy by reduce recycle and reusing outfits that we already have on....

The History of Casual Wear
'Through the Looking Glass:Casual Wear
Each month, I want to help shed a little light on different trends throughout history. Since history always seems to repeat its self in the fashion world, I want to discuss both current and old trends. This month with inspiration from the "J Crew the man who dressed America"
I wanted to touch on the history of casual wear.
The ever so comfortable, wearable staples in everyone closet, the cotton T-shirt and Denim Jean. The relationship between these to items is one that goes all the way back to the early 1950's. It was in the 50's that a rebellious youth culture emerged in cities across America. The young people, as young people are today, were pushing and working to differentiate themselves from older crowds and the ever uncool parent. With rebellion in mind, the youth flocked to the more casual t-shirt and jeans, which at that point had only been seen in new racy rebel movies. In the 50's, the US first started to idolize the Brando's and Dean's of cinema, as well as the Presley's of rock n roll. These iconic figures helped shape the new found rebel teen, and for the first time teens and young adults began to wear the then garb of the "lower working class" or as we like to call it the T-shirt and Jean.
This was the birth of casual wear as we know it today within the main stream. Fashion denim and cotton T's became hot department store purchases, and were selling out everywhere. From this point on these two pieces would remain closet staples, updating and evolving through trends and times.
Today, the denim jean and T-shirt are not only everyday wear, but people of all ages have derived their own style from these two pieces. These days we dress it up or down, and wear them in the house, to the store or on the town.
This has been the first installment of Through the Looking Glass: A history of Fashion. Remember "You can not know where your going and you do not know where you have been." Know your culture J.Cultura
